service one

‘the one-off’

after an initial free 15 minute chat. if we both agree i can help with your problem, we continue until we find a solution that you are happy with. we depart ways never to return to the same problem. of course you are welcome back anytime with a new intriguing problem to solve.

it’s a one-off fee and a one-off fix.

the first 15 minutes are free and then it’s a charge of £75.

service two

‘the mentorship’

i’m not the hammer. i’m not the teacher. i’m not here to fix you or your problems. my role is to lead you towards effective and reflexive behaviour led by you. you will develop spontaneous experiences, innovative solutions and learn to commit to the most effective actions. you’ll end up seeing the answer to your own problems and you’ll cease to get in your own way again.

you will be uncomfortable. you will be uncertain. this is not for the faint hearted.

every ongoing session is £55 per hour and you’ll also have full access to me when im available through phone, email or text.

service three

‘the education’

i’m not unselfish and so like every other human i want more of me.

i want to surround myself with open, courageous and sovereign human beings that can expand the performance environment with creativity.

performance really shouldn’t be that hard but we try very hard to make it so because we hammer our wonderfully shaped personalities into a boring and very vanilla square hole.

every single one of you is a creative individual but you need the courage to trust yourself. you do not need permission to follow your own path and that ironically is where i fit in.

don’t ask me for permission. the experience you’ll get will mean you’ll find your own skilful, spontaneous, beautiful, tough, aggressive, delicate, talented self.

every session is £35 per hour.

you can share a session with 3 other students so 4 in total and the rate remains the same. use your time wisely and arrive with weird and problematic questions.

…whats the best path for you?

behavioural path

our behaviour is most often a consequence of our learned beliefs and conditionings. we are mostly unaware of these and how, what or why we do things. life simply happens and it happens so quickly that we act or react to high status situations and we are left playing out old behaviours and choices that are ineffective. we regurgitate boring performances which reinforces our lack of success. what we actually desire is innovation, spontaneity and creativity that drives brilliance.

whether we accept it or not doing the same old thing is a really dull strategy to a life. a strategy to life is something we are able to change yet we never explore new ways because it is what it is - a strategy. we travel home the same route, we walk the same roads, we wear the same clothes. these are all life strategies and in some way or another they make us feel safe. expecting a different outcome from living the same safe existence however is simply foolish and ultimately disappointing. it kinda works and gets us so far but in reality we are playing small.

of course there are alternatives. we can choose to explore our own ideas. this means questioning whether the way we have done things before can be done in a different way. a performance grounded in personal sovereignty and fun rather than through a sense of risk aversion and fear? it’s a proactive strategy that takes courage.

physiological analysis & bio-energetics path

i can’t tell you how many times i’ve worked with professional athletes who wished they hadn’t wasted hours and years working very hard on things that didn’t enhance their performance. similarly i’ve worked with countless young athletes who would rather be provided the answer than being curious about finding it for themselves. they hoped they had chosen the right things by copying other more successful athletes. it never occurred to them that their way might be much more successful.

competition is fierce. money and marketing ensure that it’s no longer feasible to just turn up and not do ‘the work’. it’s impossible to succeed in today’s world without being more creative and fully aware. if you are not ‘turning up’ in your life you will not be able to turn up in your performance.

what do you desire? what do you want to improve?

how would you ever understand what is the driver for your performance if you are using other people as your benchmark? you can set a goal but if it’s too far in front of you and you fail what does that mean? that you are no good? of course not. it means you set your goal too far in front of you.

what is it you need analysed? can your performance be improved? can your weakness be improved? if you knew what needed to be changed you would be doing it already. it’s a complex issue for a complex human in a complex environment. it’s complex.

physical performance & repair path

why do we train?

in sport, business or the arts we train because we assume it makes us better. is there any proof that it does? if all it took was training then everybody would be good all the time and they are not.

for example, too many professional athletes work at sub-standard intensity for too long a duration. do you get that? they would rather do less intense, less effortful, less uncomfortable work but prefer to do it for longer. can you imagine that? how easy it is to convice ourselves to commit to sub-standard work. the human mind can be lazy and it would rather perform a weaker version that mimics work without comitting to choices that produce greatness.

does this illusory training increase performance capacity?

it does not.

expending resources without understanding how and why those resources get utilised destroys any diminishing returns of performance. a great performance is defined by optimal conditioning. anything that places that at risk such as exhausting our body’s energy systems through poor quality exercise, or lack of sleep, or poor nutrition interferes with our body’s resource management and its ability to recover. training becomes a waste of time and effort and a magnet for failure and injury.

by understanding what to train and what to leave behind through a rigorous and scientific process we can achieve an enhanced performance. training quality not quantity.

nutritional path

one person’s food is another person’s poison. so very apt and the geneticist will tell you that our epigenetics ancestry can help describe our susceptibility to performance, repair, recovery and even mental and physical wealth.

what we know is if whatever you are doing is not working then it is not the right nutrition for you. sounds simple but sadly it is not. the market doesn’t particularly like individuals and advertising works by spending billions on mass suggestion. it is no coincidence that there is no mass solution only individual ones.

whether for performance or health the nutritional path is a lifestyle change that will set you up for life.
